Owner accounting & statements

Managing property for someone else means holding their money and accounting for it. Each owner has a subledger, and the statement is generated from it rather than assembled by hand.

  1. 1

    Work the owner ledger

Receipts, expenses, management fees and distributions per owner and property, with a running balance that is theirs rather than yours.

  2. 2

    Distribute and report

Distributions draw against the owner’s balance and appear on their statement. Statements can run on a schedule, and owners can read them in their own portal.

Worth knowing

Owner ledger entries are never deleted. Re-importing an opening balance writes an equal and opposite reversal rather than removing the original, so a corrected balance still shows what it was corrected from.
